Why Peace Love and Paws?
YOUR DOG ISN’T “JUST A DOG.”
Trust me. I would know.
Around here, we learn your dog. Who they like to play with. Who needs a little extra confidence. Who would rather hang out with the teachers. Who thinks every ball legally belongs to them. Who needs a nap before they start making terrible decisions.
Whether your pup is here for daycare, boarding, training, or an extended stay, my humans work hard to make PLP feel less like a facility and more like their second home.
And yes, they become emotionally attached to your dogs. It’s embarrassing.
WHAT WE DO
A LITTLE SOMETHING FOR EVERY MUTT
DAYCARE
A whole day of friends, playtime, belly rubs, and hanging out with my humans. Whether your pup wants to join the party or take it easy with the teachers, there’s a spot for them here.
BOARDING
Consider it a sleepover at my place. Your pup gets all the fun of PLP during their stay, plus plenty of love, attention, and a cozy place to rest at the end of the day. I’ll make sure my humans take good care of them.
TRAINING
Sometimes you humans need a little help communicating with us. That’s okay. You’re doing your best.
COMMUNITY CARE
Sometimes a dog just needs somebody in their corner. PLP works with our community to help dogs who need a safe place, a fresh start, and a chance to find their people.
THE PLP DIFFERENCE
WE KNOW DOGS ARE WEIRD.
That’s kind of our specialty.
Not every dog wants the same thing.
Some want to wrestle with their friends all day. Some want three friends and absolutely no additional applicants. Some would rather sit beside a teacher and judge everyone from a couch. Some need extra patience before they feel comfortable.
We don’t expect every dog to fit into the same little box.
We meet them where they are.
FAMILY OWNED. DOG RUN.
Peace, Love & Paws started small in 2017 with one pretty simple idea: dogs deserve somewhere they’re genuinely known and loved.
Then apparently my humans got carried away.
Today, PLP is still family owned and operated right here in Nashville. The place is bigger, the pack is bigger, and there is significantly more poop involved, but the idea hasn’t changed.
When you leave your dog with us, you’re trusting us with family.
We take that seriously.

Client Quotes:
"Great place for all puppies. Everyone here genuinely loves the dogs. The resort is clean, modern and convenient to East Nashville. My dog Kaya loves it and loves everyone there. The prices are affordable. I am so glad I found this place!."
~ Thuy R.
"I love this place!!! My Lady loves this place too! She has been attending here for almost 2 years now! She is completely exhausted when she comes home!! Whenever we turn down their street she gets excited!!! She evens gets upset when I pull up after another car and they take the other pup out before her!! 😂 I was really nervous when I first had to leave her while I was on vacation. But they assured me she would be fine and I’m sure I got on their nerves the first time she stayed for a few days! 😂 Thanks for taking such good care of my fur baby!!!❤️❤️"
~ Dionne W.
"Just OUTSTANDING! Quality people who run a quality business! As our pup has moved into his Senior years as part of this crew, he has thrived and we owe much of that to PLP.
When the whole country was having issues containing a canine respiratory mess, Darlene and Brittany were very direct with the community, communicated beautifully, took the necessary precautions, and have since been so amazing about making sure their high standards are put into practice. The safety of their business, our pups and all of us dog owners who appreciate their attention to detail, is a priority. This place is a gem.
These folks live and care for their clients. The canine ones and the humans are both so appreciative!."
