WE ARE ON A WAITLIST FOR ALL NEW CLIENTS UNTIL 1/5/2027

EMAIL NOW TO JOIN THE WAITLIST

SO YOU WANNA JOIN THE PLP PACK?

Here’s how.

Hey there, future PLP dog. Mr. Sue here.

Before you can start spending your days running around my kingdom, your humans have to do a tiny bit of paperwork. Tragic, I know.

Becoming a new client is pretty simple, but your human does need to email us first. Once we get everything set up and approve you as a new client, you’ll get access to our online portal where your human can handle reservations from there.

STEP 1: EMAIL US FIRST

Before we can get you set up for daycare or boarding, new clients must contact us by email.

Tell us a little about your dog and anything we should know before their first visit, especially:

🐾How they do with other dogs

🐾Whether they're crate trained

🐾Anxiety or separation concerns

🐾Fence jumping or escape attempts

🐾Age or mobility concerns

🐾Medical needs, medications, or disabilities

🐾Anything else that could help us make their stay safe and comfortable

IMPORTANT: We cannot accept dogs who are aggressive toward humans. The safety of our staff and the dogs in our care always comes first.

STEP 2: PAPERWORK & VACCINES

If we have availability and your pup sounds like a good fit for PLP, we’ll send you our new-client paperwork and instructions for getting everything set up.

We’ll also need current vaccination records for:

🐾 Rabies
🐾 Distemper
🐾 Canine Influenza
🐾 Leptospirosis
🐾 Bordetella, required every 6 months

Once we have your completed paperwork and verify the required vaccinations, we can finish setting up your account.

STEP 3: WELCOME TO THE PORTAL

Once you're officially a PLP client, we'll get you set up with access to our online client portal.

From that point forward, all daycare and boarding reservation requests must be submitted through your portal.

You can use it to request reservations, see upcoming appointments, cancel appointments, check vaccination records, and manage your dog's account.

Important: Submitting a reservation request through the portal does not mean the reservation is confirmed. My humans still have to check availability and approve it. You'll receive a confirmation once you're officially on the books.

So, to recap because humans enjoy making simple things confusing:

New here? Email us first.
Already set up? Use your portal.

Beautiful. Civilization restored.

STEP 4: YOUR FIRST DAY

We don't require a separate temperament-test appointment.

Instead, we'll evaluate your pup during their first daycare visit and introduce them to the group we think fits them best based on size, personality, play style, and temperament.

We'll keep an eye on how they're feeling and let you know if we have any concerns. Not every dog loves group play, and that's okay. We'd rather figure out what makes your dog comfortable than force them into something they hate.

Our goal is pretty simple: safe dogs, happy dogs, happy humans.

COMING FOR BOARDING?

For new dogs coming to stay overnight, we highly recommend completing a daycare day before their first boarding stay.

It gives your dog a chance to meet us, learn the environment and routine, and lets everyone make sure we're a good fit before you disappear with a suitcase.

If your dog hasn't completed a daycare day beforehand and we discover during boarding that group play isn't appropriate, they may be moved to out-alone status for everyone's safety.

If we're unable to safely care for or contain your dog, your emergency contact or designated backup person will need to pick them up.

SPAY & NEUTER POLICY

Dogs over one year old who are not spayed or neutered cannot participate in regular group daycare and will be cared for under our out-alone program.

If an unspayed female goes into heat while boarding, she must be picked up immediately.

If you're boarding an unspayed female, please make sure you have a local backup person available just in case Mother Nature decides to ruin everybody's plans.

And then I’d finish the page with:

THAT'S IT. YOU'RE ONE OF US NOW.

Once your paperwork is complete, vaccines are verified, and your portal is activated, you're officially part of the PLP family.

Remember the sacred PLP rule:

New clients → Email us to get started.
Existing clients → All reservation requests go through the portal.

I'll see you when you get here.

I'll probably be busy supervising something extremely important.

Or eating.
